Why We Love Dillons Beach

Darrin decided that we needed to go camping last weekend, and I am so glad he did.  We went to our favorite spring/fall spot, Dillons Beach.  We could not have asked for better weather, it was perfect.  So perfect that the kids actually splashed around in the ocean - in January.

At least California has one good thing going for it.

A weekend camping means that I now have a week full of catching up on chores like laundry, housekeeping, and grocery shopping.   But it was totally worth it for the time I got to spend relaxing with my hubby and kids, and our besties Scott & Kate who joined us for the day on Saturday.

Laundry piles or not, we can't wait to go back.
