The kids are tucked in for a good night's sleep. Everything is ready: new clothes, new shoes, new lunchboxes and new backpacks full of new pencil boxes with all the supplies.
I am so excited for the adventures this year will bring. Homework for two! Balancing field trips and class plays. Miss Lia is more than ready for Kinder, and super excited that she gets to be in the same class with her best friend, Ella. Ben is a little apprehensive of starting in a new classroom again (he likes routine), but totally excited to see his friends.
I don't know if it's getting older or if it's more than a year on Feingold and seeing the progress we've made - but I don't feel nearly as nervous starting Ben this year as I did last year. Of course all that could change in a day, so we'll take it one at a time.
For now, off to a good night's sleep for me, too. After all - tomorrow's the first day of school!
