Life As We Know It: A Good Cuppa Joe

This blog began as a way for me to share our story about the impact that food has on our son, Ben's, behavior. In a little over two years, simply with changes made to our diet, we have found the joy in being parents to our little boy. My hope is that through our stories we can help other children whose parents, much like us, had no idea that food could be the reason for hyperactivity, impulsivity, anger and frustration and more. In between, I like to share the funny things that happen to us along the way, lessons I've learned in navigating the world of food labels, recipes that your family will enjoy, and a political rant or two because it's a big part of who I am.
