My parents have been gone on their adventure for about two months, but it is only the past two weeks or so that I have really noticed my kids missing their Grandma and Nonno. Lia has taken to hanging the postcards she receives on her bed frame, so I know these notes are special to her. Ben has started asking almost daily when we will get to visit Grandma and Nonno on their boat.
We will all be happy when Grandma and Nonno come home tomorrow for their first visit since they've been gone. I'm not sure who's more excited to see them, my kids or me!
