The other night I got home from the airport around 11:30pm, so my family was fast asleep. Yesterday morning, Ben crawled into bed with me and was giving me lots of cuddles, kisses and hugs. Laying on the pillow next to me, he put his arm around me.
Ben: "Mom, do you know what I love best about you?"
Me: "What would that be, buddy?"
Ben: "You are just so comfortable."
What a great way to start my day. Not only does my six year old boy still like to cuddle with me, but to him I offer feelings of security, warmth, love and ultimately comfort.
If he feels that way, then I must be doing okay at this Mommy thing.
