Four Eyes and Twins

This week Lia joined the club that Ben and I are in:  Club Four Eyes.  Yes, she now wears glasses for the exact same reason that Ben and I do - to ease the strain of close up work.  We all have perfect vision, but for some reason we all strain our eyes while doing close up work.

Okay, I admit maybe it's hereditary.  But it's not my fault - clearly I must have inherited this trait from one of my parents!

In other news, yesterday was Grandparents Day at the kids' school.  Since their non-working grandparents are all out of town (and their working grandparent was working), Uncle Leo and I stepped in.  Big thank you to my brother for filling in at the last minute.

Here is the picture that Ben made during the Grandparent's Day activities.  I think it's adorable.  When Ben showed it to Uncle Leo he said "We ARE twins, right, Uncle Leo?"  To which my brother answered, "Yes, buddy, we ARE twins."
