I'm having one of those overwhelming days (weeks) where I feel like I have way too much to do and not nearly enough time to do it. I'm completely overloaded at work - piles of paperwork screaming at me but too many fire drills to deal with the paper. I haven't worked out in a week and I'm not only feeling guilty about it, I'm also feeling the results. We have been really bad about vision therapy the last couple of weeks, so the need to get that back into our routine is constantly nagging me. I have laundry to do since we weren't home over the weekend. UGH!
So, rather than work on any of those things, I do what any normal person would do. . . . organize my home office. I am still up, three hours after my family went to bed, so I can organize my 401k statements, life insurance policies, Ben's paperwork from Kindergarten and 1st Grade, Lia's artwork, pay bills, file receipts. All the REALLY important stuff.
Yeah, I'm exhausted, but I have to say at least one part of my life now feels in order.
